Big News From Kensington…
We are delighted to announce the wonderful news that the Girls’ Brigade Merseyside District has been awarded the Freedom of the City of Liverpool. The 26th Girls’ Brigade at Kensington Methodist Church, proudly shared in this special honour.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday 22nd April 2026, 6pm, at Liverpool Town Hall.
The pride and joy of the girls was clear to see, reflecting their wonderful achievement, but this moment also shines a light on the incredible leaders behind the scenes. Their dedication, time, and unwavering commitment play a vital role in nurturing confidence, faith, and opportunity for every young person. Week after week, they give so much to guide and inspire the next generation, and this recognition is a testament to their impact.
