Liverpool South Methodist Circuit- Active Supernumerary
Role Outline
The Liverpool South Methodist Circuit is seeking to appoint an active Supernumerary part time (0.49 of a full ministerial appointment)
We are looking for a Supernumerary to join our ministry team for an initial two years, 2026 – 2028, with the possibility that the appointment may be extended.
The Supernumerary will join a team of two Ministers, two Anglican clergy, a youth worker and a children’s worker, working across eight churches.
It is not envisaged that they will be given delegated authorisation to work with particular churches.
The role will focus on pastoral care and leading worship (two Sundays a month).
There is also the opportunity for community outreach, including with church-based youth and children’s groups and to support the Superintendent in proposed strategic missional and pioneering initiatives.
The Supernumerary will work in consultation with the Superintendent and the Circuit Leadership Team.
