SING GOSPEL! A SONGS OF PRAISE SPECIAL EVENT

Come and join BBC Songs of Praise at Liverpool Olympia as we celebrate the joy and power of Gospel music with very special guests and plenty of opportunity to lift your voice and your spirits!

WHEN:
Tuesday 19th May 2026 – recording at 7pm (doors open from 5.30pm)

Age restriction: there is no minimum age for entry, all ages are warmly welcomed but children aged 17 and under should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Two Cathedrals March 2026

The feast of Pentecost remembers how the early Christians took their message onto the streets with enthusiasm and energy. Pentecost Celebrations want to capture something of that same spirit of celebration.  People from across Merseyside normally gather in Hope Street to celebrate the Christian Festival of Pentecost. Inspired by the Pope’s visit to the city in 1982, this event has become a regular annual feature of life in Liverpool.

Sunday 24th May 2026, 3-5pm
Starting at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and walking along Hope Street to Liverpool Cathedral.

The theme of the Pentecost Celebrations 2026 is ‘Many Voices – One Faith’.
Celebrations will be based on the Manifesto for Hope.
